Type of camp

Beginner

We introduce the building blocks to great skiing, we start slow and build your confidence in mastering how to control your speed and direction. In this course, you will become a parallel skier. You should be able to:

Get up unaided if you fall

Able to participate in skiing non-stop for 3 hours

Be injury free

Follow our pre-ski trip fitness program

 

Intermediate

You will be comfortable skiing blue runs and easy red runs but would like to improve your technique to tackle changing snow conditions, steeper slopes, off-piste and bumps. You should be able to:

Ski all blue runs in parallel

Link parallel turns on easy red pistes and on narrow pistes

Link at 3 turns together in off-piste style snow

You can get up unaided if you fall

 

Advanced

You will be happy skiing on any coloured runs and looking to get performance out of your skis like carving long turns and grippy short turns on steep slopes. Learn how to master a varied fall line descent in bump's fields and explore off-piste skiing and ski touring.

Ski Black runs in parallel confidently and in control

Ski a type of fall line descent in the bumps

Link at least 10 turns together off-piste

Carry at least a 15kg backpack all day

Able to use avalanche safety kit

8 Building blocks

Where all great skiers start, we teach you how to master the basics and understand 6 essential steps to skiing effortlessly across the mountain.

Terrain

You’ll be shown how to adjust your building blocks to get the best results on piste, through bumps, off-piste and steep slopes.

Ski fit

We’ll share our top tips for becoming ski-fit before our camps. And how making improvements in the gym can transform your skiing.

Performance analysis

You’ll receive video analysis on every camp to help improve your motor skills quickly and set performance benchmarks.

Equipment workshop

Understanding the correct set-up for you, and how to prepare your equipment to give you the best performance.
